Τα θολωτά ταβάνια δεν είναι διακόσμηση. Κρατούν τον αέρα σε κίνηση και τη θερμοκρασία σταθερή, ακόμη και τον Αύγουστο στις τρεις το μεσημέρι — γι' αυτό χτίζονταν έτσι τα σπίτια εδώ.
The vaulted ceilings are not a decorative flourish. They keep air moving and the temperature level, even at three in the afternoon in August — which is why houses here were built this way in the first place.
Η πισίνα πιάνει τον ήλιο από νωρίς το πρωί μέχρι αργά. Έξω υπάρχει κουζίνα BBQ και τραπέζι στον ίσκιο, οπότε τα περισσότερα γεύματα καταλήγουν εκεί.
The pool holds sun from early morning until late. Outside there is a kitchen with a BBQ and a table in the shade, so most meals end up out there.
